January 12, 2010 - Day 267

Good evening everyone.
I am okay, it is just that the last month has been kind of rough as the chemo starts to take its toll, causing severe fatigue and upsetting what little balance is left in my body.
I just didn't have the energy or where with all to sit down and write the blog.
I will try and start posting on a regular basis again tomorrow during the day.
Thanks for your concern.
Doug

  4. Great to see you're back with us - no matter how regular your posting may/may not be. By the way, are your Colts still in the playoffs. Just wondering. Now Jo doesn't have to guess who is doing this commentary!!!

  5. Am at the Atlanta meeting with Dr. Seldin as guest. He reminded me (after reading some of your blog) that you are always welcome back to Boston for re-evaluation. He suggested for you to call.

  7. Rats! I've been rooting for New Orleans and it totally slipped my mind that you once drank a stick of butter on the radio just to win Colts tix.

How can I root against you?

    Oh well...Go Potato Head Manning!

    Hope all is well.

  10. Dear Doug,
My brother has just been diagnoised with AMY (AL)and is being treated with chemo Valcade. He is on his 4th push. How are you doing with your treatments? If you are too weak to answer this maybe someone else could for you...Any response would help me support my Brother.
Thank you and I pray for us all.

    Steve

  11. You don't know me...my husband, Michael, discovered something unusual Apr 20, 2010 and May 21st was diagnosed w/Amy...now she's the other woman in his life. All tests are completed and we should learn just what type he has 22 July 2010. Your blog is educating me in many ways and I thank you for all you're doing. Our prayers are with you. Beat her! Vasca
